Mission: The purpose of the North Dakota
Water Education Foundation is to develop and implement water information and water
education programs in North Dakota, and to increase understanding and knowledge about water resource issues in North Dakota.

Water Education for Teachers (WET)

Purpose

To facilitate and promote student awareness, appreciation, and knowledge of North Dakota's water resources.

Goals

1. Educate students about North Dakota water resources and water management concerns as important components of the state's overall water management program.
    
2. Provide resource materials that will allow North Dakota's youth to gain the knowledge, skills, and commitment necessary to make more informed decisions regarding the future management of the state's water resources.
    
3. Develop and provide teaching aids and tools on North Dakota water issues.
